Casino

Martin Charles Scorsese is an American film director, screenwriter, film producer, and film actor. Being born to Italian immigrants and growing up in an Italian colonial society dominated by the Mafia has had a profound influence on Martin Scorsese's work. His famous works include "Taxi Driver,(1976,)" "King of Comedy,(1984,)" "Goodfellas,(1990,)" and many more.

Casino is a crime drama that was released in 1990. The main actors in this movie are Robert De Niro Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci. The film earned Scorsese a Golden Globe nomination for Best Director. The production cost is $52,000,000 and the box office gross is $116,112,375.

Sam Rothstein is put in charge of a casino in La Vegas because of his talent for gambling. As the casino's sales increase, so does the amount of money it pays to the organization behind it. He marries Ginger, a beautiful female hustler, and life seems to be smooth sailing. However, things take a sudden turn when Sam's longtime ally, Nikki, arrives in Vegas. Nicky is a violent and destructive man who causes trouble one after another, and this is beginning to affect the management of the casino in no small way.

This movie is three hours long, and I was really prepared for it. However, it is a raging story that never gets boring. The speed and richness of the content, especially in the first half, was amazing.

The Mentalist

 This TV series is The Mentalist.  The genre of this series is detective drama. The creator of that series is Bruno Heller. That series was an English-language drama that aired from 2008 to 2015. It aired 151 episodes for a total of seven seasons. The lead actor is Simon Baker and the heroine is Robin Tunney.

Patrick Jane is a psychic who has taken the world by storm. When he disappears from the glamorous television industry, he takes a job as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation, using his remarkable powers of observation and storytelling, which are the seeds of his psychic abilities. While quickly solving a 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　number of difficult cases, Jane is also 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　chasing the shadow of her nemesis, Red 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　John, the murderer of her wife and child.

It is a very interesting drama with interesting storylines and a lot of foreshadowing in each episode. It's definitely interesting, so have a look.

Batman Begins

Badman Begins is a movie that was released in 2005. It is directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Cinematography. It grossed $370 million at the box office.

Gotham City is never a safe place. Bruce's parents were shot to death in a robbery. He decides to overcome his childhood trauma, his phobia of bats, and fight evil. He decides to return to his hometown, Gotham City, to fight evil as a dark hero named Batman.

It's a movie that makes you want to cheer for the main character very much because he has worked hard and become strong.

Action Movies

An action movie is a movie in which the main element of presentation is the physical activity of the main character in overcoming some barrier, such as fighting or combat. There are several sub-genres of action movies. Some of them are 1) War Action movie, 2) Animator Action movie, and 3) Western Action movie.

An example of a War action movie is Land of Mine.

The movie is a 2015 Danish-German historical drama film directed by Martin Santfried. A story based on the historical fact that German POWs were mobilized to dispose of landmines in Denmark after the end of World War II. The story is about a German POW and a Danish sergeant, who were enemies during the war, who gradually grow closer as human beings as they share a horrible experience.

An example of an animator action movie is Kung Fu Panda. This movie was released in 2008 and directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne. The story takes place in ancient China. Master Monkey, Master Mantis and other kung fu masters compete in a selection competition, but Master Oogway chooses Po, a lazy and petulant panda. More passionate about kung fu than anyone else, Po is apprenticed to Master Shifu, a kung fu master.

An example of a western action movie is Once Upon A Time In The West. It is a movie created in 1968, directed by Sergio Leone. The story is about a murdered farmer's wife who enlists the help of a drifter gunman to fight a railroad conspiracy, in this western with H. Fonda as the ruthless gunman.

The Blind Side

  The Blind Side  was released in 2009. The film's director is John Lee Hancock, and the main character is Quinton Aaron and Sandra Bullock. In 2010, Bullock was nominated for Best Actress at the 82nd Academy Awards and won for Best Actress. At the 67th Golden Globe Awards, she won the Best Actress award as well.

 Michael Oher had a tough childhood, once becoming homeless, but through an encounter with a family, his own talent blossomed.

 The American football scene is very powerful. It's a true story and a movie that makes you think a lot.
